Dazed - natural dye patchwork wall hanging

$320.00

A unique patchwork wall hanging created by hand, in collaboration with natural dyes from Mother Nature.

Working intuitively, odd shaped off-cuts + scraps are pieced together to create the final design. Working in this way allows for a unique creative flow - rules and expectations are set aside as the work is guided by the hands and heart of the maker.

Created as an intention for your home and heart. A sacred piece of cloth that reminds you of what is true, that creation takes time, and that beauty abounds.

Process: fibres are naturally dyed using plants from nature, then intuitively patch-worked together.

Fibre: Organic cotton + linen in various weights and weaves.

Details: 44” x 46” raw edge, patchwork textile - there is a sleeve sewn into the top of the textile to hang on a dowel.

Care: Natural dye hues can shift over time. It reminds us of the impermanence and ever-changing beauty of life.

To keep the colour true, gentle wash in cool water with a pH neutral (pH7) earth friendly soap. Avoid harsh generic soaps.

Keep your fibres moving - not sitting to soak.

Press in a towel to remove excess water. Lay flat to dry.*

*A short time in a tumble dryer on low/medium heat can help enliven the feel and texture of your textile.
